Fun Excursion in simple words can be called as "an outing." It is a small trip or a picnic taken for leisure or education with family and friends. Usually people go for excursion in groups. A round trip taken on a public vehicle at subsidized or low prices can also be termed as an excursion, for example a boat ride. The word has a Latin origin coming from the word "excurrere," which means to "run out." It is recommended by doctors to go for an excursion to countryside away from the rigors and pollution free life of the city at least once a month to take your mind off from work related pressure and feel at ease with oneself. People even go for excursion for the purpose of meditation. A deviation from a particular topic, course of action or the main path of a voyage is also known as an excursion. For example, in physics, a movement from and back to an axis in an oscillating motion is also known as an excursion.

Usually, people think that fun excursion would be out of state or out of country but this is not true; we can have fun and full enjoyment in our local areas also. For this we do not have to wait for long summer vacations. But if you have spare time or vacations it could be more fun. Because if you have vacation or some spare time in your hand, you can enjoy and fun more without the tension of any work or job. A person enjoys more without any tension in mind. Actually it also depends on the moods, likings or disliking of the person. Fun Excursion means the time to do things that you maybe didn't do in the past. But this does not mean that you cannot do anything you have done once. One should consider the likes and dislikes of their Family member(e.g children) or friends. There are many fun excursions you can do week end. You can go to movie with your family and have the lunch or dinner outside. You should watch the movies which makes your children happy like Cartoon or children series movies. You will also go Children Parks, garden where your children can play and have more fun. You can also arrange an educational tour like going to museums or book fairs. This will enhance your child knowledge and make the brain sharp.

Moreover, if your pocket allows you can also go out of station or abroad. It could be more fun for you and your family, as there is no stress of work or free of regular tension of life. You can spend many days, depending upon the time or days available. There you can go to beaches, Cruise rides, aboard local sites, discos etc. You should take fewer luggage’s to have more enjoyment and fun. You can also take photographs for your good memory. This will make your tour more memorable and full of enjoyment.
